Enable ~/Library in Mac OS X Lion
🗓If you tweak your Mac a lot, or maybe you just know how to properly uninstall applications in OS X, and you frequently need access to your ~/Library folder then you probably know how annoying it is that Apple decided it was going to be a great idea to hide your Library folder from you when they released Mac OS X 10.7. Thankfully, it's pretty easy to restore the functionality. All it takes is running on little terminal command.
First thing you'll want to do is fire up Terminal and then type in the following:
chflags nohidden ~/Library
Once you've got that entered simply hit the Enter key and you'll be set! Easy access to the ~/Library has been restored.
